I found these photos recently and wonder if anyone recognises themselves - they are probaby from around 1957!

HI, Im pretty sure my son David Leyland is on both photos on the top 1 he is @ the back on the right, he has a v neck jumper on, also he is on the next photo , third from the right on back row, he is 58, now, :lol:

sorry i cant recognize anyone else, but the girl in front of david looks like Elizebeth [ liz ] casson, in the bottom photo, but i can be wrong, mydaughter went to the same school but she was 20 months younger, my brain doesnt work like it used to but i think i recognize my own , :lol:

Ive just had another look is that Fred Spencer ? second on the left after the lady [ teatcher ], youve got me going now, if im right its because his mum and Liz mum lived in same Avenue as i did many years ago, people no me when im out,[in wheelchair ] but i havent a clu who they are, :?

This time I recognise the name Fred Spencer, but can't put a face to him. i remember names and i recognise faces, but can't match them up! I think Christine Edgar is next to me on the top photo and at the other side I think the boy's name was Trevour Watkins and maybe Colin Rimmer next to him. The one with blond curly hair is called Robin I think!

We must be two of a kind, i keep wanting to tx, ive just sent a tx to my grandaughter, my son,s daughter, i told her he can see the photos if he goes on the history chanell, thank s to steven, for leting me know, ive enjoyed,every min, it passes a lot of time for me, there is so many interesing things, maybe someone else will come up with more names, good luck, xjean

My name then was Glynis Woods, we lived at 25 Barnett Avenue until I was 11 then we moved to Park Avenue North in Wargrave.

hi glynis, i dont remember u love, we lived in Tully Ave, not far from you,but i moved in 1972, moved many times since, must be the gypsey in me, so my family and friends say, :roll:

that is freddie spencer,i had'nt seen fred in years but i have bumped into him twice in the last week!jean is right about her son david, and it does look like liz casson

I'm almost certain that the lad next to the teacher on the top row from the left is Ian Moorhouse.

nannycar After putting two and two together didn't you drive for C.N.I.P on Earl St in the late 60s early seventy s ?

If it is you I remember you taking photos of all us lads ( lads that time ) when you was leaving. Would you still have copies of the said photos as I would love to see my old workmates.

Oh, my god, lve said to mutch, lol, yes cnip, , that was me, but dont remember the photo, i was always takin them, but give loads away, yes the driveing instructer was me,not eveen seen me ,and u no me lol, its bean 28 years since i did that, i loved driveing,still do but dont do mutch these days, i cant lift the wheelchair 2 put in the boot, have to get my daughter to do it, lol, its nice to no ppl remember me all good i hope, cheers, jean, x :oops:
