Photo 1934 Football Earlestown District School

Postby haselton » Sat Feb 06, 2010 5:25 am

Going through Dads old stuff. Found this photo of the winners of the 1934 Latham Challenge Cup in 1934. The name Roy Appleton is on the top of the picture postcard, and the winners were Earlestown District C of E School. Some of the names are not too easy to see, but the person who did this card took the time to cast the players, teacher and headmaster. A few common Earlestown names in there. Notice there have been soccer posts lately so maybe this will link some of them. Trevor Haselton.
