Hi

My first ever go at this (and probably my last!)

Is it the set of terraced houses in Southworth Road?

Really enjoy looking at the site every day - thanks.

Hi TomH

It is a view of the Southworth Road houses, they seem to have lost their front garden area sometime long ago, pity because I think the properties look better with the small walls outside them, they seem very like the houses at the Winwick end of Hollins Lane which still have their small front garden area and walls.

Hi all, we are thinking of changing this topic, or at least splitting it up as it is getting rather large now,
several suggestions have been looked at, but i think i will ask you lot out there :)
Have your say
what would you like to see?
new pictures, old pictures, now and then, same local borders, clues or no clues?
what do you think.

Hi Bob
A three split could prove interesting providing enough resource material is available or made available by members for the two subjects that require old photos, there must be lots of photos in peoples cupboards and biscuit tins that could be posted on the forum.
Local borders could be expanded, I am sure all who contribute are not Earlestown / N-Le-W born and bred or now resident, the 60s and 70s saw a lot of locals move to surrounding areas.
Clues made available when digression goes rife, er no not that quick.

I have locked this forum thread, while the 590+ posts are reorganised into a better format that should allow easier viewing
